Caffe Umbria - Colombia La Orquidea

Colombia La Orquidea is a tasty light roast with notes of tangerine, chocolate, and floral flavors. The washed process here tempers the extreme sweet end giving this coffee a delicate sweetness that emphasizes the more citrus and floral elements of the flavor profile. This is a great roast to try if you want a lighter drip brew, and is of course a delicious pour over.This coffee was sourced from the Tolima region, located in the Andes mountain range in Colombia. This region has historically been difficult to source from due to challenges in exporting. A local cooperative was formed in 2014 called ASOPROCAFEES with the goal of bringing coffees from the region to market. One of the fruits of their labors is this delicious roast by way of Umbria.
