Rich almond undertones work alongside fruity, juicy flavors in this honey processed take on Guatemala Ayarza from Boast. This Wine Series coffee shows off how processing really does affect the flavor that ends up in the cup. With a smoother set of flavors than the natural in this series that dials back the sweetness just a bit, this roast is the medium between that more flavorful coffee and the more balanced washed from the same producer. This coffee's body is a medium, with similar characteristics to the other coffees in the series. We highly recommend giving this one a try alongside the other Guatemala's of this series to really understand better how process affects flavor. This one is best enjoyed as a pour over but makes for a tasty drip brew or even a delicious (if challenging) espresso!
