We’ve got an incredible new product launching this week: the Diletta Bello Espresso Machine! Diletta is a new Seattle Coffee Gear exclusive brand that we’re excited to be a part of. The goal of the brand is to bring high quality equipment to end users without too high of a price point. Backed by a history of experience and skill in the production of coffee equipment, we believe in the Diletta mission as much as we believe in our own. The Bello represents the first machine in this new line of products, and it really is quite the introduction!
Premium Performance
The Bello features design features inspired by classic Italian espresso machine engineering. This machine is all hands on, with tactile controls for brewing, steaming, and hot water. A dual pressure gauge gives you feedback on brewing and steaming pressures, instead of just brewing.
This machine has an E61 brew group head, which stays hot with a stream of water running through it from the boiler. This in turn keeps the portafilter hot, ensuring perfect temperature stability during brewing. This is important, as you want the water temps to stay consistent as they pass through the espresso grounds for the best extraction.
Finally, the Bello’s heat exchanger boiler will allow you to put that dual gauge to use, giving you the power to brew and steam simultaneously. A 1.8L boiler gives you strong recovery time to make a few drinks back to back as well. Other nice to haves like a full size 58mm portafilter and a hot water spout for americanos round out the capabilities of this excellent machine.
Stunning Looks, Incredible Value
All of the above features also look good in motion. With that classic Italian look, stainless steel accents, and available powder coating, the Bello’s aesthetics match its performance. The only problem with this eye-catching conversation piece is your guests will probably demand a latte!
But at the end of the day, you can find many of these features in attractive packages in plenty of machines. Italian espresso machine production is nothing new, and while the Bello meets a considerable standard in terms of reliability and performance, you may be left wondering what really sets it apart. For us, it’s all of those things plus significant value.
While there are cheaper E61 machines out there, we really feel that the Bello represents a fantastic middleground between pricing and quality.
